For the last 2 years, I struggled with migraines. And were not talking annoying little headaches. We're talking migraines that blinded me, made me bedridden, and sent me to the ER many, many times. I went to doctors sometimes 4x a month. Got about 15 different diagnoses. From depression all the way to a scary little thing called brain cancer. They gave me medicine after medicine. Nothing worked. Doctors had me try everything. At one point, I couldn't eat dairy, meat, caffeine, artificial sweeteners, gluten, certain fruits, and had to drink 100+ oz of water a day. Still, even more miserably, I suffered excruciating migraines. I had to quit my job and I failed a semester of school. VERY unlike me. I was in bed about 4-5 days a week, put on weight, unable to do anything at all. I couldn't live my life. Early 20's, and here I am: hating everything. Not to mention the $20k+ medical bills I had… before my insurance DROPPED me. I felt frustrated, sad, scared, worthless, and hopeless.
